ABOUT us

CultureKind Chinese Community was founded in 2013 and it has grown over the years. It is a non-profit and volunteer led organisation based in Telford, Shropshire, UK.

We promote equality and diversity and advocate good relations between different community groups. We preserve and promote of historical traditions, such as Chinese folk dancing, Chinese traditional instruments, and celebration of Chinese festivals, etc.

We also promote social inclusion for the public benefit by working with people who may feel socially excluded on the grounds of their ethnic origin (in particular, members of the Chinese community) and assist them to integrate into society and activities that have a proven beneficial effect on health and well-being.

We provide Chinese arts and culture workshops,perform traditional Chinese dancing and instruments at local and National events. We also make time for some smaller audience groups such as care home residents.

We organise and host Chinese festival celebrations yearly and they are all free and open to the public.
